Beating Procrastination Tips – Are there times when you feel like delaying things? It is as if you got whole time to lie down and sleep, forgetting that there are still loads of work to be delivered. Well, sometimes it’s a normal thing. But this is not actually the right attitude to consider. Whenever you feel that again and again procrastination becomes a habit. Remember to overcome it this before it’s too late. Here are some tips for beating procrastination:
1. Listen to yourself.

When we try to be mindful on the things that we need to do. First, we need to listen to our self. It will help us know if we are thinking to be less productive. If we some negativity in our manner of thinking, try to shake that off as it will begin to make us feel anxious. So, why don’t you try play that music to make feel relax and easy.
2. Take the easiest task to get started.
To make things feel good, starting easy will take us a long way. Think of this one as a warm up. We need to do first what is manageable which won’t take too much of our mind. This is the best way to build our momentum and completing other tasks would just simply flow. This little step will surely give us a surprise that in no time we are almost done.
Remember, an unfinished task will remain as it is unless you get started.
3. Start anywhere.
It is another trick to get ourselves started. But, yes, we have to start easy but that would lead us t the next question where to start? We can plan but it wouldn’t be that effective because may might overdo it. We don’t want another procrastination episode due to too time given to planning. So, might as well, start anywhere we can think that is easy. Now at least we got our hands on the assignment.
4. Chill, all we need is to be nice to our self.
We don’t have to be so strict to our self to complete the task we need to do in a period of time. If we find ourselves procrastinating, we don’t have to slap our face for that. Instead, we have to give our self some sympathy for the laziness. So, stand up and begin to move before slothfulness sinks in again.
5. Procrastinators, let us forgive ourselves.
Self-forgiveness cures procrastination. If we have forgiven ourselves for doing such, we get to move on. Our mind will tell us to makes sure that there will be no delays in anything we ought to do next time.
6. Choose the song that make us feel like moving.
This will stimulate our brain to create new activity or habit. Also, it will help us feel better. So, who don’t want to get into the task if we are on the mood to get moving?
7. Let us make it super fun.
How? To get ourselves motivated to finish a certain task, a rewarding our self is a great idea. Human brain reacts to stimulus such as an award. Have a fun treat to look forward to. Make sure to get something super fun!
8. Look for a motivation buddy.
It makes the project easier to do. Our buddy could be our best friend, spouse, or anyone who can get us back into the plan.
9. Let wake up early.
Remember the saying, “early birds catches worm”? This sounds true. Since early mornings are so serene, it will make us concentrate and be more productive. Here is a bonus to that, we can even finish any project earlier so there could be a lot of time for fun. And it will make us feel relaxed and ready for the things that we to do the next day.
10. Sleeping early.
Sounds good to hear, since we need to wake up early, automatically, sleeping early is the next best thing to do. This will charge our body and will make us feel good the next day. If we feel better, procrastination won’t dare to conquer your quest in finish any project.
